Titular diocese of Thasus
The diocese of Thasus ( Latin Dioecesis Thasiensis , Italian diocesi di Taso ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a submerged bishopric in the ancient city of the same name, which was in the Roman province of Macedonia (in what is now northern Greece ). The bishopric was assigned to the ecclesiastical province of Philippi .
