Titular Archbishopric Proconnesus
Proconnesus ( Italian : Proconneso ) is a titular archbishopric or until 1929 titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a lost bishopric on the island of Prokonnesos (today Marmara Island ) in the Sea of Marmara , which belonged to the Roman province of Asia or Hellespontus .
