Tobias Helms

Tobias Helms (born December 16, 1968 in Oberhausen ) is a German legal scholar. He is professor for civil law , international private law and comparative law at the Philipps University of Marburg .

Life

Helms studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and completed his habilitation there in February 2006. Since July 2006 he has held a professorship in Marburg. He is co-editor of the Journal for Entire Family Law ” (FamRZ) and a member of the editorial team of “Das Standesamt” (StAZ).
