Tobias Robert Thalén
Tobias Robert Thalén (born December 28, 1827 in Köping ; † July 27, 1905 in Uppsala ) was a professor of physics and taught at the University of Stockholm . One of his students was Svante Arrhenius , whom he promoted because of his talent.
Life
In 1884 he was awarded the Rumford Medal for his spectroscopic research. In 1886 he was elected Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh .
