Tobias Warschewski (born February 6, 1998 in Dortmund ) is a German football player who is used as a striker . Since July 2020 he has been playing for 1. FC Phönix Lübeck .

Career

Warschewski, who was born and raised in Dortmund , began playing football in the youth department of Dorstfelder SC 09 . In 2008 he switched to the youth team at TSC Eintracht Dortmund . For the 2015/16 season he went to the A youth team of Preußen Münster . There he signed a professional contract for two years in May 2016, although he also had offers from Borussia Dortmund and Schalke 04 (each for the second team).

On the first day of the 2016/17 season Warschewski made his debut for the first team from Preußen Münster in the 3rd division when he was substituted on in a 0-1 home defeat against VfL Osnabrück in the 86th minute. In the following period Warschewski was always in the squad in the league game and scored his first professional goal on his third substitution at halftime with a 2-2 in the game against SV Wehen Wiesbaden on the 11th matchday with the hit to 1-1. In September 2017 he extended his contract term with Preußen Münster ahead of schedule until the end of the 2019/20 season. After the striker had not even trained with the pros in the second half of the 2018/19 season, the contract was prematurely terminated in spring 2019. In 2020 he joined the regional league team 1. FC Phönix Lübeck .

National team

In March 2017 Warschewski was invited by trainer Frank Kramer to a course for the German U19 national team. This was followed by an appeal for a European Championship qualifier against Cyprus , which was won 2-1 and Warschewski brought in his international debut by substituting in the 70th minute of the game.
