Tobias "Tobi" Wauch (born April 1, 1995 in Hohenems ) is a former Austrian cyclist .
Athletic career
Tobias Wauch comes from a family enthusiastic about cycling: Even his father Mario, who runs a bike shop (as of 2015), was a successful cyclist, as was his brother Dennis , who was two years older . At the age of five Tobias Wauch started cycling in Mario's Bike Team , initially on a mountain bike . At the age of eleven he drove his first race on the road and two years later shifted his focus to road and rail . Since then he has been a member of the Austrian national team.
In 2012 Wauch was Austrian junior runner-up in the 1000-meter time trial on the track, two years later he finished third in the elite in the points race and won the state championship in the Omnium . In 2015 he was runner-up in points driving and third in scratch at the national track championships . He was then for a start at the track European Championships in Switzerland Grenchen nominated the following year he was part of the squad for the UEC train European Championships for Juniors / U23 2016 in Montichiari .
