Todi DOC
Under the name Todi DOC are Italian white and red wines from the province of Perugia in the region Umbria marketed. Since 2010 they have had a "controlled designation of origin " (Denominazione di origine controllata - DOC ), which was last updated on March 7, 2014.

Todi DOC is offered in the following types of wine:
- Todi Bianco . Must consist of at least 50% Grechetto grape variety . A maximum of 50% other white grape varieties approved for cultivation in the Umbria region may be added.
- Todi Rosso . Must consist of at least 50% Sangiovese grape variety . A maximum of 50% other red grape varieties that are approved for cultivation in the Umbria region may be added.
Furthermore, almost single-variety wines are offered. The grape variety mentioned in the name must be at least 85%. A maximum of 15% other analogous grape varieties that are approved for cultivation in the Umbria region may be added.
- Todi Grechetto or Grechetto di Todi
- Todi Sangiovese or Sangiovese di Todi
- Todi Merlot or Merlot di Todi
Cultivation
The cultivation and vinification of the wines are only permitted in Todi , Massa Martana , Monte Castello di Vibio and Collazzone (all in the province of Perugia).

- Smell: vinous, delicate, fruity
- Taste: from dry to semi-dry, fresh, harmonious, sometimes lively

Todi Rosso
- Color: ruby red, lively, more or less intense
- Smell: vinous, pleasantly fruity
- Taste: dry, full, slightly tannic
- Alcohol content: at least 12.0 % by volume , for "Superiore" 12.5% by volume
- Acidity : at least 4.5 g / l
