Toe fat
Toe Fat was an English rock band that was active from 1969 to 1971.
Band history
In 1969 , after breaking up his previous band , Cliff Bennett teamed up with the remnants of The Gods and gave the new band the name Toe Fat. The original line-up included Ken Hensley (keyboards, guitar), John Glascock (bass; Glascock replaced the initial bassist John Konas) and Lee Kerslake (drums).
After the debut album Toe Fat (1970) first Hensley, then Kerslake left the group and formed Uriah Heep with David Byron , Paul Newton and Mick Box . For them came Brian Glascock (drums) and Alan Kendall (guitar).
When the second album Toe Fat Two (1971) was not a commercial success, the Toe Fat project was ended.
