Tokerau Beach is a small coastal settlement in the Far North District of the Northland regionon the North Island of New Zealand .
geography
The settlement is located around 27 km north-northeast of Kaitaia on the Karikari Peninsula on the beach in the north-western part of Doubtless Bay . From the settlement, which extends over a length of around 2 km on the beach, the sandy beach of the bay, which is also called Tokerau Beach , stretches for around 14 km south to the estuary of the Awapoko River .
