Photo lenses

Tokina carries (as of January 2017) 17 lenses for single-lens reflex cameras from Nikon , Canon and Sony .

The lens design has been based on older Nikkor lenses from Nikon since the 1990s , which can be recognized, among other things, by the hammer finish paint that is typical of Nikon.

With the conversion of the range to lenses for the digital half-format cameras (abbreviation "DX") and digital 35mm cameras (abbreviation "D"), the manufacturer concentrated on the lens connections Nikon-F and Canon-EF. On February 1, 2010, the manufacturer announced the first lens with a Minolta-A bayonet in around five years .

Cooperation with Pentax

More recently, Tokina and camera manufacturer Pentax have been collaborating on the development of some of their lenses. The AT-X 3.5-4.5 / 10-17 DX Fisheye, the AT-X 4.0 / 12-24 Pro DX, the AT-X 2.8 / 16-50 Pro DX, the AT-X 2.8 / 50-135 Pro DX, the AT-X Macro 2.8 / 35 Pro DX, the AT-X Macro 2.8 / 100 Pro D and the Opera 1.4 / 50 FF come from this cooperation: The Pentax and Tokina versions of the jointly developed lenses have comparable optical constructions and lens sets, but different mounts.
