Tomáš Abrahám (born April 18, 1979 in Třebíč , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech football player .
Career
Tomáš Abrahám played for Sokol Hrotovice and FC Slavia Třebíč in his youth . At the age of 16, the defensive midfielder moved to FC Boby Brno , where he made his debut in the first team in the 1998/99 season. In the following season he was loaned to the third division Tatran Poštorná . He then returned to Brno , but made only one game in the 2000/01 season. He was loaned to the Slovak first division club FK AS Trenčín , where he only played twice.
In mid-2002 Abrahám returned to Brno, where he was finally able to prevail. In two years he only missed one championship game. In 2004 he was signed by the Turkish first division club Denizlispor , where he was one of the pillars of the team. Abrahám completed a total of 145 appearances for Denizlispor in the Süper Lig and scored two goals.
In early February 2009 Abrahám moved on loan to the Greek first division club Skoda Xanthi after he had previously refused to extend his contract, which ended in June 2009. In June 2009 Abrahám moved to the Czech first division promoted 1. FC Slovácko . There he played a total of 22 times and scored one goal. After a year he left the promoted team and moved to the Austrian Bundesliga promoted Wacker Innsbruck . The player-coach is currently at ASK Bad Vöslau .
