Tomás Osvaldo González Morales SDB (born April 20, 1935 in Santiago de Chile ) is former bishop of Punta Arenas .

Life

Tomás Osvaldo González Morales joined the order of the Salesians of Don Bosco and was ordained a priest on February 11, 1963 . Paul VI appointed him on March 28, 1974 Bishop of Punta Arenas .

The Archbishop of Santiago de Chile Raúl Cardinal Silva Henríquez SDB consecrated him on April 27 of the same year as bishop ; Co - consecrators were Sotero Sanz Villalba , Apostolic Nuncio in Chile , and Sergio Valech Aldunate , Auxiliary Bishop in Santiago de Chile.
