Tom Andrews

Tom Andrews (born June 15, 1954 ) is a retired American hurdler and sprinter .

In 1977 he won at the Universiade on 400m hurdles . At the Athletics World Cup in Düsseldorf he was part of the 4 x 400 meter relay for the US quartet, which did not finish because of the injury to Maxie Parks .

In 1976 he became US champion over 400 m hurdles and in 1977 English champion over 400 m . Starting for the University of Southern California , he became NCAA champion in the 400 m hurdles in 1977 .
