Stan Vinson

Stan Vinson (born March 5, 1952 ) is a retired American sprinter .

At the Athletics World Cup in 1977 in Düsseldorf, he was part of the 4 x 400 meter relay of the US quartet, which did not reach the goal because of the injury to Maxie Parks .

In 1978 he was US indoor champion over 600 yards , and in 1979 he won the Spartakiad of the Peoples of the USSR over 400 m . Starting for Eastern Michigan University , he was NCAA hall champions over 600 yards in 1974 and 1975 .
