Tom C. McCarthy
Thomas "Tom" C. McCarthy (born before 1979) is a sound engineer .
Life
McCarthy began his television career in 1979, where he worked on four episodes of the western series Hell to the West . His first feature film was the Western Heaven's Gate by Michael Cimino , one of the biggest flops in movie history. Up until the mid-1990s, he worked on several feature films each year, including major Hollywood productions such as Against Every Chance and Prosecutors Don't Kiss . In 1993 he and David E. Stone won an Oscar for Bram Stoker's Dracula in the category of best sound editing . His last documented work in the film business was the 1994 Damon Wayans comedy Blankman .
