Tom Masland
Thomas Wootton Masland (born 1950 in Winston-Salem , North Carolina , † October 27, 2005 in New York City ) was an American journalist and Pulitzer Prize winner , most recently he was editor-in-chief of Newsweek magazine .

Tom Masland succumbed to massive head injuries sustained October 24th when he was hit by an SUV while crossing a street in Manhattan, NYC .
He leaves behind a wife and three sons.
