Tom Viehöfer

Tom Viehöfer (born February 28, 1978 in Koblenz ) is a German actor .

Career

In the mid-1990s, Viehöfer began studying sports in Cologne , which he financed as an active footballer. In 1996 he played for various Cologne and Rhenish clubs, for example in Euskirchen and Junkersdorf . As a striker at SC Fortuna Köln , he even made it into the top division .

He completed his acting training from 2004 to 2007 at the Arturo Drama School in Cologne . During this time he worked in several short films and was mainly seen on the theater stage, including a. at the Cologne Theater Night. From 2008 to 2009 a permanent engagement at the Badische Landesbühne followed . In 2009 he also took part in a workshop in "Camera Workout" with Patricia Frey at the International Film School in Cologne .

He also made his film debut in 2006 with the English-language production Klimt . A year later he appeared in the film comedy Vollidiot in a minor role.

He became known to a broad television audience through the supporting role Roman Sander in the ARD early evening series Marienhof , in which he was seen from April 1 to July 23, 2009. Two years later he played in the daily soap Forbidden Love the Hagen von Lahnstein , the first episode with Viehöfer was broadcast on 13 January 2011th Four months later he left the show.
