Tomasz Gruszczyński (born December 4, 1980 in Wałbrzych , Poland ; also Thomas Gruszczynski ) is a former Polish football player who also has French citizenship.

Career

Gruszczyński was never active in Poland and played for some provincial clubs in France in his youth before moving to FC Metz in 1999 . Here he was only used in the youth and reserve team. In 2002 he then moved to Luxembourg for the F91 Dudelange . Here he was able to establish himself immediately as a regular player and was able to win several championships and cup victories with the team and was the club's best scorer for years (116 goals in 191 games). For the second half of the 2011/12 season Tomasz Gruszczyński moved to CSO Amnéville in the fourth French league . Here he was able to score 4 goals in 13 games. For the 2012/13 season , however, he moved back to Luxembourg for FC Progrès Niederkorn . For his new club he scored 4 goals in 17 league games and left them at the end of the season. With 120 goals in 208 league games, he is one of the most dangerous players in the Luxembourg national division of all time. After Tomasz Gruszczyński was without a club for six months, he signed a contract with the French amateur club FC Thionville for the second half of the 2013/2014 season and then ended his active career six months later.
