The Tommasini bellflower ( Campanula tommasiniana ) is a species of bellflower ( Campanula ) in the bellflower family (Campanulaceae).

features

The Tommasini bellflower is an evergreen, perennial , herbaceous plant that reaches heights of growth of 10 to 15 (30) centimeters. It possibly forms a Pleiokorm root . The basal leaves are round-heart-shaped, glabrous, shiny and stalked. The stem leaves are narrowly lanceolate and finely serrated. The flowers are arranged in poor to profuse clusters. The fruits are capsules with pores in the middle. The crown is light blue, narrow tubular-bell-shaped and 11 to 16 millimeters long. The corolla tube has a diameter of less than 5 millimeters.

The flowering time is in June and July, sometimes even in August.

Occurrence

The Tommasini bellflower occurs in eastern Istria on rocks at altitudes of up to 1410 meters.

Campanula tommasiniana forms the hybrid Campanula × wockei Sünd with the Waldstein bellflower ( Campanula waldsteiniana ) .
