Tommaso Paradiso (born June 25, 1983 in Rome ) is an Italian cantautore (songwriter) who became known as the frontman of the indie band Thegiornalisti .

Career

Paradiso founded the band Thegiornalisti in 2009, with whom he released five albums between 2011 and 2018. After a record deal with Carosello Records , the band made their mainstream breakthrough in 2016 , especially with the summer hit Riccione , which reached the top of the Italian singles charts in 2017. Since 2015 Paradiso has also been writing songs for well-known Italian musicians such as Luca Carboni , Giusy Ferreri and Gianni Morandi . He also worked several times with the producer duo Takagi & Ketra .

In September 2019 Paradiso finally announced his departure from the band and announced a solo career, which he began with the release of the single Non avere paura .
