Tommi Kärmeniemi (born June 1, 1989 ) is a Finnish biathlete .

Tommi Kärmeniemi starts for Lappeen Riento . He contested his first international race at the Junior World Championships 2008 in Ruhpolding , where he was 71st of the individual, 49th of the sprint, 44th of the pursuit and sixth in the relay with Marko Nieminen , Ville Simola and Eppu Väänänen . The following year he competed in the junior races of the 2009 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Oberhof , where he was 24th of the sprint in cross-country competitions and 23rd of the sprint and 20th of the pursuit on roller skis . The Junior World Championships 2010 brought for Kärmeniemi only one use in the individual, which he finished in 67th.

Since 2011 , Kärmeniemi has started with the men in the performance area. He finished his first races, an individual and a sprint race, in the IBU Cup in ranks 57 and 70. The Finn only took part in other international competitions at the 2015 European Championships in Otepää and made his first appearances at an international championship. In the individual, he ran to 68th place, was 84th in the sprint and with Olli Jaakkola , Heikki Laitinen and Tuomas Grönman 15th with the lapped Finnish relay.
