Tommy Karlsson is a former Swedish ski jumper .
Career
Karlsson, who competed for the Djurgårdens IF club , started his first and only international competition in the 1966/67 Four Hills Tournament . In the opening competition on the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf , he landed in 43rd place, before jumping to 36th place after an increase in performance in the New Year's competition on the Great Olympic Hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . On the Bergiselschanze in Innsbruck he achieved his best individual result in the tour with rank 28. After he reached 38th place on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen , after the tour he was 31st in the overall ranking with 718.9 points.
At the Swedish Championships in 1970 Karlsson won his first and only national title from the normal hill.
