Thomas "Tommy" Langley (born February 8, 1958 in London ) is a former English football player .
Life
Langley began his professional football career at Chelsea , where he made his debut against Leicester City in 1975 . He played a total of five years with the "Blues" and was sold to Crystal Palace in 1980 . He was previously named Chelsea FC Player of the Year in 1979. His position was that of the striker . Langley played 152 games for the Blues, scoring 43 goals. After his career with the blues he played for Crystal Palace, AEK Athens , Coventry City , Wolverhampton Wanderers , South China AA in Hong Kong , Aldershot FC , Exeter City , the Tampa Bay Rowdies and most recently for Slough Town. The former striker currently works as a presenter for the club's own channel Chelsea TV.
