Tomoaki Sano ( Japanese 佐野 友 昭 , Sano Tomoaki ; born April 14, 1968 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Sano learned to play soccer on the school team at Tokai University Daiichi High School . He signed his first contract with Toyota Motors in 1987 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . At the end of the 1987/88 season, the club was relegated to Division 2. In 1989/90 he was runner-up in Division 2 with the club and was promoted to Division 1. For the club he completed 24 games. With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, Toyota Motors became Nagoya Grampus Eight . In 1992 he moved to the second division NKK SC , then in 1993 to the league competitor Chuo Bohan (today: Avispa Fukuoka). In 1995 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 109 games. In 1999 he moved to the third division Sagawa Express Tokyo . In 2000 he moved to the second division Mito Hollyhock . At the end of 2000 he ended his career as a soccer player.
