Tomotaka Kitamura ( Japanese 北 村 知 隆 Kitamura Tomotaka ; born May 27, 1982 in Mie Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Kitamura learned to play soccer on the school team at Yokkaichi Chuo Technical High School . He signed his first contract with Yokohama FC in 2001 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2006 he became champions of the J2 League with the club. For the club he completed 143 league games. In 2007 he moved to league competitor Montedio Yamagata . In 2008 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League . At the end of the 2011 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club, he completed 152 league games. Then he played for the Veertien Kuwana . At the end of 2013, he ended his career as a football player.
