Tomoya Koyamatsu ( Japanese 小屋 松 知 哉 , Koyamatsu Tomoya ; born April 24, 1995 in Kumiyama , Kyoto Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Tomoya Koyamatsu learned to play soccer on the school team at Tachibana High School . He signed his first contract with Nagoya Grampus in 2014 . The club from Nagoya , a port city in Aichi Prefecture on the island of Honshū , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League . In 2014 he played three times in the J.League U-22 Selection . This team, which played in the third division, the J3 League , was made up of the best young players from the higher-class clubs. The team was founded with a view to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro . The players were selected on a weekly basis from a pool for which each club was able to name talented individuals worth promoting; the composition of the team therefore varied greatly from game to game. After 29 games for Nagoya, he moved to Kyōto Sanga in early 2017 . With the club from Kyoto he played in the second division, the J2 League . By 2019 he was on the field 116 times for Kyoto. At the beginning of 2020 he was signed by the first division club Sagan Tosu from Tosu .
