Tone Marit Oftedal is a former Norwegian biathlete .

Tone Marit Oftedal contested her first race in the Biathlon World Cup in Östersund in 1993 and finished this sprint race in 50th place. It was the only competition in the highest international racing series in biathlon. Also in 1993 she won the relay race at the Biathlon Junior World Championships in Ruhpolding alongside Gunn Margit Andreassen and Åse Idland .

Oftedal was also successful at the national level. In 1993 she won with Anette Sikveland and Åse Idland for the province of Rogaland starting the title in the relay competition at the Norwegian championships. A year later , the trio could be runner- up behind Hordaland in the same line-up .
