Toni Correia Gomes (born November 16, 1998 in Bissau , Guinea-Bissau ) is a Portuguese football player .

Career

society

Gomes came to Lisbon from Guinea-Bissau at the age of 15 . Shortly afterwards, in September 2014, he came to England for a trial training at Liverpool FC and was signed by them. He played for the Liverpool reserve team for the first time in October 2015.

In August 2017 it was awarded to the fourth division team Forest Green Rovers . He made his League Two debut in September 2017 when he came on as a substitute for Dan Wishart on matchday five of the 2017/18 season against Wycombe Wanderers at half-time . In total, he came to nine missions for the Rovers in the fourth-highest division, in which he remained without a goal. He returned to Liverpool in January 2018.

For the 2018/19 season he returned to Portugal and moved to the second division club FC Arouca . For Arouca he came to nine appearances in the Segunda League that season , but with the club he had to be relegated from the Segunda League at the end of the season. Then he left the club.

National team

Gomes played three games for the Portuguese U-17 team in 2015 . In 2016 he came to three missions for the U-18 team .
