Toni Hansen

Philipp Anton ("Toni") Hansen (born January 27, 1904 in Prüm , † August 9, 1959 in Linz am Rhein ) was a German politician ( CDP / CDU ).

Life

Hansen attended elementary school and high school through to secondary school . From 1921 to 1924 he attended the teachers' college in Prüm and from 1924 to 1927 he was a private tutor at the manor house Horr near Neuss. 1927–1928 he was prefect in a student hostel in Bergheim and 1928–1930 teacher at the Niederprüm middle school.

1930–1933 he worked in the administration of his late brother's flour wholesaler in Prüm. 1933–1934 he was a substitute teacher in Wetteldorf (district of Prüm) and 1934–1935 auxiliary teacher in Preist (district of Bitburg). In 1935 he was excluded from school service for political reasons and again took over his late brother's business. In 1940 he did military service (private). After 1945 he was the provisional district school councilor of the Prüm district and in 1947 became the rector of the Catholic elementary school in Linz am Rhein .

Until 1945 he was non-party. 1934–1935 he was a member of the NSLB and in 1935 briefly a member of the NSV . After the war he became a member of the city council of Prüm and from 1946–1947 first deputy there .

After the Second World War he joined the CDP , from which the Rhineland-Palatinate state association of the CDU later emerged. As the successor to the departed MPs Dr. He succeeded Else Missong on February 24, 1947 as a member of the National Advisory Assembly .
