Torben Ehlers (born August 27, 1984 in Barth ) is a German handball player .

The 1.94 meter tall left-hander , who has been playing handball since 1991, came to the Stralsund AGM in 2004 through the clubs SV Motor Barth and SV Fortuna '50 Neubrandenburg . The right back player also played in the regional league for HSV Peenetal Loitz . For the 2008/2009 season, Ehlers moved to MT Melsungen and went from there to HC Empor Rostock after half the season ; in February 2011 he moved on to league rivals Eintracht Hildesheim . After promotion to the Bundesliga in 2011, he left Hildesheim. On August 24, 2011 he returned to Stralsund and signed a contract with the Stralsund AGM. Here he plays in the regular squad of the first men's team that took part in the third division , Season North. For the 2013/2014 season he moved back to SV Fortuna '50 Neubrandenburg.
