Torleiv Schibsted Corneliussen (born July 25, 1890 in Oslo , † April 29, 1975 ibid) was a Norwegian sailor .
successes
Torleiv Corneliussen, who for the Kongelig Norsk Seilforening sailed, was in 1912 in Stockholm at the Olympic Games in the 8-meter class Olympic champion . He was a crew member of the Taifun , which took first place in both races of the regatta and thus won the competition in front of the Swedish boat Sans Atout by skipper Bengt Heyman and the Finnish boat Lucky Girl by skipper Bertil Tallberg . The Taifun crew also included Thomas Aass , Andreas Brecke and Christian Jebe . Thoralf Glad was the skipper of the boat .
