The Toro Mazote Glacier ( Spanish Glaciar Toro Mazote ) is a glacier on the Danco Coast in the west of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows south of Waterboat Point into the Aguirre Passage .
Participants of the British Imperial Antarctic Expedition (1920-1922) under the direction of John Lachlan Cope (1893-1947) discovered him in 1921. Participants of the 5th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1950-1951) made measurements and the naming. It is named after the Chilean air force officer Carlos Toro Mazote Granada, who participated in this expedition and was stationed at the Bernardo O'Higgins station as early as 1947 .
