The Río Torote is a left tributary of the Henares in the Spanish provinces of Guadalajara and Madrid , which can dry out at times.

It arises between Matarrubia and Fuentelahiguera de Albatages in the province of Guadalajara, flows largely in a southerly direction and flows into the Henares at Alcalá de Henares .
