Torre de San Pedro
The Torre de San Pedro is a church tower in Ayerbe , a Spanish municipality in the province of Huesca in the autonomous community of Aragon , that was built in the 12th century. The tower is on the northern edge of the village. It has been a protected architectural monument ( Bien de Interés Cultural ) since 1924 .

When the Romanesque church of San Pedro was demolished in the 19th century, the tower was left standing. The upper two floors of the high tower on a square floor plan have sound arcades that are designed as twin windows on some sides . The arched openings rest on pillars with capitals and are partially decorated by a frieze . There are several bells in the tower .
In autumn 2009 the San Pedro tower was renovated.
