philosophy

The fashion designer is one of the leading fashion artists in Germany. It has been proven that he has been practicing his interpretations of clothing as the use of world views and the dissemination of messages since 2000, and this style is becoming more and more popular in the fashion scene. Amft's collections are always subject to a socially critical aspect, such as As its collection premiere 2007/08 under the slogan Collateral Climate , here he treated the first fashion designer to climate change . After the G8 summit, he took up the topic of Africa (African raw materials against famine) at his spring / summer 2008 fashion show . The entire collection was stocked with African cultural products. At “Fashion Week 2008”, Amft had his models stroll with the well-known Klaus Wowereit saying “poor but sexy”, thus indirectly pointing out the impending lull. In this context he was the first fashion designer to experiment with solar models (clothing) in order to be able to use efficient natural resources / raw materials with clothing. Amft calls his style elitist futurism .

Amft caused a sensation when he presented the world's largest models at Berlin Fashion Week in 2008. Amft has been the artistic director of Europe's largest open-air fashion spectacle, the Global Fashion Festival, for several years .
