Tortschynowytschi ( Ukrainian Торчиновичі ; Russian Торчиновичи Tortschinowitschi , Polish Torczynowice ) is a village in western Ukraine with about 1000 inhabitants (2001).
The first time in 1254 in writing mentioned village is the administrative center of the same name, 57.27 km² District Municipality in the east of Rajon Staryj Sambir of Lviv Oblast to which even the villages Torhanowytschi ( Торгановичі , ⊙ ) with about 550 inhabitants, Batschyna ( Бачина , ⊙ ) with about 350 inhabitants, and Morosowytschi ( Морозовичі , ⊙ ) with about 300 inhabitants.
The village is located at an altitude of 324 m on the bank of the Dniester , 4 km northeast of the Staryi Sambir district center and 85 km southwest of the Lviv oblast center . Through the village extending highway N 13 and the railway line Lwiw-Sambir-Chop .
