Riccarda Tourou

Riccarda Tourou (* 1943 in Linz ) is a former Austrian employee of the United Nations (UN).

Life

Riccarda Tourou studied mathematics (doctorate) and physics at the University of Vienna , University of Graz and at the Free University of Berlin . After a brief computer training at the Creditanstalt-Bankverein in Vienna, Riccarda Tourou worked at the United Nations, from 1983 to 2002 in a leading position. From 1997 she was in charge of the Geneva and Vienna offices of the UN Postal Administration and diplomatic status at the UN.

Since 2007 she has been working in literature management and as an editor with Elazar Benyoëtz and Veronika Seyr, among others.

Private

Riccarda Tourou is married and has one son. She has interests in literature, music (long-time member of the singing club of the Society of Music Friends in Vienna , piano), traveling, bridge and plays golf, skiing and mountain hiking.
