The Tours Speedway is an oval course with a length of 600 m. It was created in the summer of 2012 on a parking lot near the Parc des Expositions of the city of Tours in France. Its width is 20 meters. The race track is validated by the French motorsport association FFSA .
The route helped the city of Tours to become the first European venue for a motorsport event on July 7th and 8th, 2012, which is officially recognized by the FIA on the one hand and affiliated with NASCAR on the other .
The races take place as part of the American Tours Festival, where concerts, US car shows, Harley meetings and much more US-specific take place. In 2017, for the first time since the inauguration of the track, the NASCAR European Championship did not take place on this track. The race was held again in 2018, but not all teams took part.
