Since the establishment of the first Persian calligraphy and book painting school in France in April 2002 on the premises of the Iranian cultural center in Paris and in the town hall of Asnières in collaboration with the SITAR association, more than 300 students have taken part in courses. The excellence achieved by some of the first graduates of this school allowed them to take part in exhibitions at the Cultural Center of Iran in November 2003 and in the Saint Germain Auditorium in October 2004. The school is open to all students who wish to attend these courses for a period of eleven weeks; or full training over several years. About twenty students who have followed the course regularly since the school was founded have already received their diplomas.
