Trace Urban is a television broadcaster specifically aimed at young people as Urban Television .
An exclusive scene program is broadcast on trends in music , fashion and lifestyle worldwide. Music videos, exclusive interviews and concerts can be seen.
The program is broadcast both in French (for France, Belgium and French-speaking countries in Africa) and in English for the rest of the world, although the French-language version differs mainly in that a significant proportion of the music comes from the French-speaking area , on the international version there is only one weekly top 10 show (FRENCH 10) in which French-language music is broadcast. The broadcasting center is located in Paris , France .
On December 15, 2010, Trace.TV changed its name to Trace Urban and now carries the motto We love Hip-Hop & R&B.
Trace.TV can be received on cable as part of the program bouquets from Kabel Baden-Württemberg and via IPTV on Telekom Entertain .
The HD offshoots Trace Urban HD, Trace Tropical HD and Trace Sports HD broadcast unencrypted via Astra 3B (23.5 ° East) until February 17, 2012 , but then broadcast Conax -encrypted. Trace Sports HD was in the meantime to be received again unencrypted in the period up to the shutdown of the Bulgarian bouquet SatelliteBG at the beginning of June 2013, while the other two channels had already been shut down.
