Traian Iordache (born October 10, 1911 in Bucharest , † April 3, 1999 ) was a Romanian football player and coach . As a striker , he played a total of 93 games in the highest Romanian football league, Divizia A , and was top scorer in the 1936/37 season .
Career as a player
Iordache's career began in the 1936/37 season , when he was the top scorer of the highest Romanian football league, Divizia A , as a player for Unirea Tricolor Bucharest together with Ștefan Dobay . When the club had to move into Divizia B after the following season , Iordache moved to local rivals Venus Bucharest , one of the most successful clubs of the 1930s.
With Venus he was able to win the Romanian championship in 1939 and 1940 , but was defeated in the cup final in 1940 Rapid Bucharest in the third replay. Iordache remained loyal to Venus during the Second World War , when gaming had to be interrupted. After the end of the war he moved to Carmen Bucharest , where he ended his career in 1946.
