The Traverso Point (English; Spanish Punta Traverso ) is a headland on the northeast coast of Tower Island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It forms the southeast boundary of the entrance to Ploski Cove .
The name goes back to Argentine scientists. The further naming background has not been passed down.
