Travnik Buttress (English, Bulgarian рид Травник rid Trawnik ) is a massive and up to 1600 m high massif in the southeastern foothills of Forbidden Plateau on the Oscar-II. coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 4.5 km west-northwest of Mount Bistre , 16.95 km west-northwest of Pirne Peak and 7.85 km northwest of Vishna Pass on between the upper sections of the Green and Evans glaciers . Its north-west, north-east and south-east slopes, some of which are not icy, are striking.
British scientists mapped it in 1976. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 after the village of Trawnik in northeastern Bulgaria .
