Treewadee Yongphan (born March 3, 1987 ) is a Thai sprinter who has specialized in the 400-meter distance and was particularly successful with the Thai 4-by-400-meter relay.

Athletic career

Treewadee Yongphan gained her first international experience in 2005 at the Indoor Asian Games in Pattaya , where she reached fourth place over 400 meters and won the silver medal with the Thai 4 x 400 meter relay. A year later she was again fourth over 400 meters at the Asian Indoor Championships, shortly afterwards fifth at the Asian Junior Championships in Macau , where she also won the silver medal with the relay. In 2009 she took part again in the Indoor Asian Games in Macau, but this time dropped out in the first round. In 2008 she won the bronze medal with the Thai relay at the Asian Indoor Championships in Doha . At the Indoor Asian Games in Hanoi in 2009 she was again fourth in the individual competition and won the bronze medal in the relay. She then finished eighth in the 400-meter run at the Asian Championships in Guangzhou and fifth in the Thai relay. Shortly thereafter, she won gold medals in both competitions at the Southeast Asian Games in Vientiane .

In 2010 she failed in the first round of the Asian Games in Guangzhou. In 2011 and 2013 she won two gold medals each at the Southeast Asian Games in Palembang and Naypyidaw. In 2014 she won the silver medal with the relay at the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou, China . At the Asian Games in Incheon , she finished fourth with the season. She also won the silver medal in the relay at the 2015 Southeast Asian Games in Singapore and finished fourth in the individual competition. Two years later she again won the silver medal with the relay at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur . At the beginning of September 2017 she won the gold medal with the relay at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat .

In 2006 she became the Thai champion over 400 meters.
