The Trepassey Bay is a 1.3 km wide bay on the east side of the Tabarin Peninsula in the north of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 6 km southeast of Hope Bay on the Antarctic Sound .
Scientists from the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out an initial mapping aboard the MV Trepassey in 1947 . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the bay after this ship in 1957.
