Tressow is a district of the community Bobitz in the district of Northwest Mecklenburg in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Geography and transport links

Tressow is located northwest of the core town of Bobitz on the L 12 state road . The A 20 runs south. North is the 64 ha large Tressower lake .

The manor complex Schloss Tressow consists of a manor house , park and stables . The main building is a late Classicist 2-storey, 13-axis, castle-like plastered building , which was built in 1865 with a base and mezzanine floor and a medium- sized risalit according to plans by court building officer Georg Daniel . The Marstall was built on the model of the Schwerin Marstall . In the park there is a memorial stone for the resistance fighter Fritz-Dietlof Graf von der Schulenburg . After 1945 the manor house was home to a special school . After 2000 it was completely renovated; since then there are u. a. also holiday apartments.
