Trio Artemis

The Trio Artemis is a female classical and chamber music - Ensemble from Switzerland .

The three professional musicians Katja Hess (violin), Bettina Macher (violoncello) and Myriam Ruesch (piano) founded the trio during their studies in 1995, which all three graduated from the Winterthur University of Music in the summer of 2000 .

The women's trio has released five CDs by 2007, has made numerous appearances in Switzerland, including at the EXPO 2002 in Neuchatel, at the international Lake Constance Festival in Konstanz and Friedrichshafen, at the classic summer concert series in Zermatt, at the castle concerts in Thun, as well as concert tours to Paris , Completed Osaka , Tokyo , Stuttgart , Dresden , Hamburg and Tenerife .

Highlights in 2006: Triple Concerto in C major op. 56 by Ludwig van Beethoven and the world premiere of the Triple Concerto Simetra by Karel Boeschoten .
