The Bodenseefestival is a festival program founded in 1989 by the then Südwestfunk (today: Südwestrundfunk ) and the cities of Friedrichshafen and Konstanz as the International Bodenseefestival , which includes numerous individual events.

The festival has been organized by Bodensee-Festival GmbH in Friedrichshafen since 1993 .
