Helmut Berschin
Helmut Berschin (born October 18, 1940 in Augsburg ) is a German linguist .
The brother of the Latinist Walter Berschin was most recently full professor for Romance philology at the University of Giessen . The Spanish language (1st edition 1987) is now considered a standard work of his writings . Berschin received his doctorate with the dissertation of past tense and perfect use in today's Spanish in 1974 and completed his habilitation in 1981 at the Institute for Romance Studies at the University of Regensburg .
Berschin is the father of two children and lives in Augsburg. He is committed to Bavarian .
