Triosphere is a progressive metal and symphonic metal band from Trondheim , Norway .

Band history

The band was founded in 2004 by Ida Haukland (vocals, electric bass ), Marius Silver Bergesen ( guitar ) and Ørjan Aare Jørgensen ( drums ), whom Tor Ole Byberg joined shortly afterwards as the second guitarist. The band signed in 2006 with the Norwegian label FaceFront Records. Shortly thereafter, their first album, Onwards , was released in Norway , which was later sold in Asia , Europe and the United States . The band was then celebrated as a newcomer act in established music magazines such as Rock Hard or the US website Just Plain Folks Music . The latter gave the album the title Metal Album of the Year .

Triosphere then toured Europe and signed with AFM Records. The second album The Road Less Traveled was released on May 28, 2010 .

Music genre

Triosphere plays “traditional Melodic Power / Heavy Metal with light Scandinavian Hard Rock and Progressive influences” in the style of Sinergy , Masterplan , Dio and the newer Nightwish .
